Massing & Design Development
The scale of building is being carefully considered across the site. Three blocks are currently proposed to front Mount Ephraim, which are larger in their scale offering a continuation of the strong street frontage and scale of buildings along this principal vehicular route.
Of these three blocks (identified as A, B, and C, from North to South), block A distances itself from the St Andrews United Emmanuel Church, enhancing its setting and offering a high-quality public space, whilst block C carefully integrates the full extent of the existing locally listed building at 15 Mount Ephraim.

As the topography descends across the site to the East, so too does the scale of the proposed buildings, with two terraces of town houses proposed along Culverden Street and Rock Villa Road. A fourth apartment block is considered at the centre of the site, offering a communal roof garden with uninterrupted views across the town.
