The site is located within Royal Tunbridge Wells Town Centre and was the former home of Hendy Ford. It is a highly sustainable location, located just a 10 minute walk away from the railway station, and directly adjacent to existing bus stops.

The site is allocated for residential development in the Tunbridge Wells Development Plan Site Allocations Local Plan Policy AL/RTW22 and the emerging Local Plan Policy AL/RTW 3).

Policy AL/RTW 3 allocates the Site for approximately 100 dwellings.
